How it works

FAQ

What is the best size for a YouTube thumbnail?

YouTube recommends 1280x720 pixels (16:9 ratio) with a minimum width of 640 px. Use the YouTube Thumbnail preset in this tool.

Can I resize multiple photos at once?

Yes. Add as many photos as you like, and they will all be resized to the same dimensions. Download them all at once as a ZIP file.

Does resizing reduce photo quality?

Shrinking an image slightly reduces detail, but the tool lets you control the output quality (0-100%). For best results, start with the highest quality original you have.

What is the difference between Fill, Fit, and Stretch?

Fill crops the photo to fit the exact dimensions. Fit adds padding (you choose the background color) so the whole photo is visible. Stretch deforms the image to match the size exactly.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your photos never leave your device.
