How to use

- Select the Fill fit mode to crop the photo to fill the dimensions exactly.
- Check the preview to make sure the important parts of your photo are visible.
- Download the cropped photo, or get several as a ZIP.
How it works
Cropping uses the Fill fit mode of the resizer tool. The photo is scaled so it completely fills the target dimensions, and the overflow is trimmed away. Because the HTML5 Canvas API runs in your browser, no file is sent to any server. How to verify. Also available as a free REST API for developers and AI agents (edge-processed, zero retention).

FAQ
What is the difference between cropping and resizing?
Cropping removes the edges of a photo to fit a target aspect ratio or size. Resizing changes the overall dimensions. This tool does both at once when you use Fill mode.
Can I choose which part of the photo to keep?
The Fill mode centers the photo by default. For more precise control, use the thumbnail maker editors which let you drag the photo to position it exactly.
Does cropping reduce quality?
The photo is re-encoded when saved, so very slight quality loss can occur. Set the quality slider to 90-100% for the best result.
Can I crop to a circle?
This tool crops to a rectangle. For circular crops (such as profile pictures), try the Profile Picture Maker which includes a circle crop guide.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your files are never sent to a server.
