How it works

The canvas editor loads directly in your browser. Fonts are hosted on this site, and your photos stay on your device the entire time. You can export as PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, or PDF. Drafts are saved automatically in your browser's IndexedDB (up to 5 per tool) so you can pick up where you left off. No data is ever sent to a server. How to verify. Also available as a free REST API for developers and AI agents (edge-processed, zero retention).

FAQ

What size should a thumbnail be?

For YouTube, use 1280x720 (16:9). Blog featured images are typically 1200x630. Instagram posts work best at 1080x1080 or 1080x1350 (4:5). This tool includes presets for all of them.

Can I use these thumbnails commercially?

Yes. All bundled fonts are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which allows commercial use. You are responsible for the copyright of photos you upload and any trademarks.

Is there a file size limit?

YouTube allows up to 2 MB from mobile and 50 MB from desktop. Turn on "Auto-compress to a target size" and set 2 MB if you upload from your phone.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. The editor runs entirely in your browser. Photos and drafts are stored in IndexedDB on your device and never sent anywhere.

Can I save my work and continue later?

Yes. Drafts auto-save in your browser. Reopen the page and click "Continue" to resume. You can also save a project file (.json) for backup.
