How to use

  1. Pick a template or start with a blank 1000×1000 canvas.
  2. Choose a size: square 1:1, wide 16:9 or 4:3.
  3. Use + Text for a short, bold title (8–12 characters per line reads best in lists).
  4. For wide images, turn on the safe-area guide and keep the text inside the center square.
  5. Save as PNG or JPG and upload it as your post's featured image.

Specs checked on 2026-10-03. Many blog platforms (for example Naver Blog in Korea, and many WordPress themes) show list thumbnails cropped to a square, so 1:1 is the safest choice. The 1000×1000 default is a widely used recommendation, not an official spec.

FAQ

What ratio should a blog thumbnail be?

Many blog lists and search results crop thumbnails to a square, so 1:1 (1000×1000) is the safest. If you need a wide image, keep the title inside the center square so it survives the crop.

Can I use it for WordPress, Tistory or Medium?

Yes. Themes use different ratios, so it helps to make both a 1:1 and a 16:9 version.

My text looks too small in the list.

Thumbnails appear small, so use a bold font and keep each line short (about 8–12 characters or 2–4 words).

Is my work saved automatically? Can I download a PDF?

Yes. Your edits are saved automatically in this browser (IndexedDB), so after a refresh or closing the tab you can pick up where you left off with the Continue button. Up to 5 recent drafts are kept per tool, and nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser data deletes them, so also keep important work with Save project (.json). Besides PNG, JPG and SVG, you can save WebP, a PDF at the canvas size (all pages in one file) or a print-ready A4 300 DPI PDF.
