How to use

  1. Pick a size: 4:5, 3:4, 1:1 or landscape 1.91:1.
  2. Choose a template or start blank.
  3. Add a photo, then text, icons or emoji.
  4. Keep key content near the center, since the profile grid preview crops the edges.
  5. Save as PNG or JPG.

Specs checked on 2026-10-03 (Instagram Help, "Image resolution of photos you share"). Photos 320–1080 px wide keep their original resolution if the ratio is between 1.91:1 and 3:4 (566–1440 px tall at 1080 px wide). Other ratios are cropped, and wider than 1080 px is scaled down to 1080 px.

FAQ

What size should an Instagram post be?

Instagram keeps 1.91:1 to 3:4 at full resolution. Portrait 1080×1350 (4:5) or 1080×1440 (3:4), and square 1080×1080. Many secondary sources say the profile grid preview is now 3:4, so keep important content in the middle.

Is my work saved automatically? Can I download a PDF?

Yes. Your edits are saved automatically in this browser (IndexedDB), so after a refresh or closing the tab you can pick up where you left off with the Continue button. Up to 5 recent drafts are kept per tool, and nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser data deletes them, so also keep important work with Save project (.json). Besides PNG, JPG and SVG, you can save WebP, a PDF at the canvas size (all pages in one file) or a print-ready A4 300 DPI PDF.
